Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. The stage name he uses is that of his beloved uncle, and also the initial name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal for GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013, he signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He has signed with Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape), was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his first full-length album, called Owl Pharaoh. He then followed it with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the debut album of his studio. The hit song, "Antidote", was included on the album. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) achieved his first Billboard 200 top 100 album. The next year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the band name Huncho Jack.In 2018 his third album, Astroworld, was released to critical acclaim and produced the first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). In the latter part of 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Scott's hit single "Franchise", featuring Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, came out. Scott was the first rapper to reach the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
